Noteworthy Research

  • London's name is derived from the Celtic term 'londinios', meaning 'place of the bold one'.

  • The Arts & Crafts Movement arose from the London area around the  year 1860.

  • 2012 will mark the 3rd time that London has hosted the Olympic Games.

 

Research Concepts

  • The arch is one of the strongest structures known to man and can be found implemented in many buildings and monuments throughout London and its surrounding area.

  • The Arts & Crafts Movement used vibrant hues in drab environments.

  • Triangles consist of 3 sides and are the strongest shape in geometry.

Identity Package & Merchandising

After developing the concept of the logo London 2012. Next collaboration for the project was the merchandising products and stationery. All the merchandise shown will be used by the athletes during the games and will also be sold to the audience targeted toward “The Google Generation” to create a unity between fans and athletes and also for the overall Olympic London 2012 games.
